Surround yourself with like-minded people, learn, share, and become a student of entrepreneurship. You are never too late or too early to join a community.

I transitioned from running a service agency full-time to starting a SaaS agency. I needed to surround myself with fellow builders and creators to get immersed in my next journey.
Communities have a massive impact on your business and your journey to your next destination. If you are transitioning from a job to entrepreneurship, a community will provide you with guidance, resources, and tools to get to the next step. If you are transitioning from one business to another or testing a new product/service, a community is an impactful way to get relevant value about an industry. Most people that participate actively in an online community are there to learn, share, and provide value one way or another — if that means giving you feedback on your product or service, that’s value.
Search on Twitter, LinkedIn, and even something like meetup.com. Some communities are online-only, some are 50/50 online and IRL, and others are only IRL — find what works for you. If a community doesn’t exist, start one. You can bring people together, especially online — Twitter communities, discord, slack, and many other tools. If you are looking for IRL meet-ups, you might want to check out meetup.com because that started as an IRL event platform and has evolved over the past few years.
This is not only my life motto, but it’s also why communities of like-minded people are so valuable — they are there to lift each other. Communities are a two-way street; lead by offering feedback and advice rather than simply asking people to buy shit from you. If someone in your community is building a product you need and find helpful, support them by paying for it.
Go out there, find a place to share what you are working on, things you are interested in learning, and provide any value you can to people in your community. It will give you a ton of inspiration and knowledge as you go through your journey.
