Marketing never ends, it's a continuous cycle.
This should only take about 4 mins to read.
"Where should I begin?"
"What do I need to pay?"
"How frequently should I be marketing?"
Luckily for you, there is no right or wrong answer. Marketing isn’t just one thing, it’s everything.
When you send an email about your business, you're marketing.
When you post about your product online, you're marketing.
Marketing never ends, it's a continuous cycle.
Here are some examples of organic marketing that you can use for your business:
Content Creation: This includes blog posts, videos, infographics, e-books, etc.
Social Media: Share content relevant to your business and interact with others in related industries to raise awareness.
Email Marketing: Build your email list, as it's the only thing you truly own. Anytime you release something new, you have an immediate outlet to reach your customers.
User-generated Content: Once you start acquiring customers and users for your business, ask them to participate in your marketing. Request reviews, videos, testimonials, etc. Use that content across all channels as part of your marketing campaign.
Every business will find success through different marketing channels. There is no “one-size fits all” method. It would be boring if that was the case.
'Til this day, I personally believe that word of mouth is the stickiest form of marketing. When you hear someone talk about a product and how much they love it, you feel like you have to have it.
One thing that remains constant across all marketing initiatives is consistency. You can't just post and ghost, you need to show up every day.
How often have you heard someone say, "We posted one video on TikTok and had our biggest sales day"? You never know who is going to see what you post. Some products require more visual convincing, others require a written format.
Don't get discouraged if you lack marketing experience.
Don't be disappointed if something doesn't work.
Keep trying different things until you find what works, then double down on it.
Go out there and try creative and crazy ideas. Put your own spin on it. Just because something worked for one business doesn't mean it will work for you.
Get creative.
