Most people who work a 9-5 job have thoughts and say to themselves, “I want to start my own business,” their next thought is: what if the business fails? Those same people stay unhappy and continue to question themselves. They fall short and don't get the chance to exercise their full potential.
Change does not need to equal fear. It can be rather exciting.
I started my first business in 2014-15. After 1.5 years, the company failed, and we ran out of money. My comfort zone threshold shot up at this moment. A failing business provided me with tremendous knowledge and growth. Few things I learned:
Excitement will allow you to think clearly and have much better chances of building a business that succeeds. It’s a mentality shift; fear can quickly turn into excitement if you allow yourself to bring that fear along with you on the journey.
Don’t let fear stop you from leading with excitement when you decide to start a business. A positive mind-state is extremely important.
